The beauty of the Creditable solution is that it has a very small footprint on your device. It is written in C++ and can be compiled for the platform of your choice – DOS, WinCE, Windows XP, Linux, etc.
There is one simple interface that only requires 2 software calls to process a Chip and Pin transaction. The first call requests the card to be read, the second gets the result. The receipt data is then made available for printing. If the card has no Chip, then it will process the transaction from the Magnetic Stripe, as required by the acquirers for all Unattended terminals.
Comms solutions offered as standard are IP, ISDN and GSM. Both these allow extra data to be combined with the financial data, to enable the logging and reporting of your choice. Any other form of comms can be used as the data volumes are very small – less than a thousand bytes for a complete transaction.
The service is fully managed so that you have no need to install any transaction processing software, and no worries about delivering 24x7 service. Daily reports are generated automatically for all transactions, and weekly or on demand reporting consists of database files that are easily imported into your own systems. At all times the highest security is in place.
